Kellogg's - Pop Tarts - Strawberry Cheese Danish

Pop Tarts Strawberry Cheese Danish flavor. It was on sale and we had coupon so we got it for 75 cents. I do like regular pop tarts like frosted strawberry. But this new flavor was really dissapointing. It's too thin and soft. I put in a toaster, when it was ready, I couldn't get it off from toaster, it stuck to toaster, and then when I try to take it, because it was too soft, it just keep breaking. And taste wasn't good at all. I couldn't finish eating. Anyway, I just wanna my money back, it's not worth 75 cents.

Mandalay Bay - Burger Bar

Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay. Expensive burgers. You can order with anything and any way you like. We thought taste was just OK, no reason to go back there. All total (2 burgers and fries, below) was probably around $40-$50.

Firefly on Paradise, Vegas

Firefly restaurant in Las Vegas, 2005. We saw this place on Rachael Ray's $40 a Day on Food Network and we wanted to try. We thought taste was just ok. I don't understand why people like this place. I mean, it's a cool place to hang out with friends and have some drinks but I wouldn't come here to just eat their food. The portion and the taste that you get, we thought it's a little expensive. Maybe we just don't like this Spanish cuisine.

L'artiste Patisserie - Encino, CA (CLOSED)

Tarts from L'artiste Patisserie in Encino,CA. There were only about 10 different tarts, not so many selections when we were there. We were there 30 minutes before they closed. No name or price tag listed. Taste was good, I'll give them 3.9 stars out of 5. But I'd love to try more other cakes. Tart was $4.95 each.

Ramen Nippon - Reseda, CA

Ramen Nippon in Reseda. The best ramen restaurant in L.A. so far. Everything tasted like I used to have in Japan, it was just so good. My husband ordered Sutamina Hiyashi Ramen, it's a cold noodles. I ordered shio ramen with fried rice and gyoza combo. I really liked fried rice here. My ramen soup was so tasty. 3 day later, I said maybe we should go there again. This is the place that you wanna go back again, again, and again.

Homemade French Toast

I made french toast. Taste was better than I thought. I really didn't think it's gonna be good. I didn't have any milk so I used Holly Nog, it's basically soy milk with some cinnamon flavor. This Holly Nog also works for pancakes.

Make batter of eggs, Holly Nog (or mik and a pinch of cinnamon), and vanilla. Dip 1-3 days old french bread, and cook in a buttered pan.
Garnish with powdered sugar, syrup, and berries.

Garlic Jim's Famous Gourmet Pizza

Garlic Jim's Famous Gourmet Pizza. We got this large pizza for $15.99 plus tax, total $17.31. Without coupon, the regular large size pizza (14") would be $22. Taste was just ok, it's way toooo expensive for 14 inches pizza, and pizza wasn't hot. I'd rather just go to Domino's, their pizza is bigger, faster, and delicious! And they said, if you wanna order delivery, you have to wait about 1 hour. And they are gonna open 2 more locations in L.A., I don't think that's gonna be a success.

Spinach Artichoke Pie. Fresh Spinach, Marinated Artichoke Hearts, Roasted Garlic and Red Onions on our Basil Olive Oil base. We ordered with half no cheese (for me).
