Banh Mi My Tho - Alhambra

Banh Mi is popular Vietnamese sandwiches. Usually they are really cheap, if you go to Chinatown, Monterey Park, Alhambra area.

Banh Mi at Buu Dien in Chinatown was $2, this place is $2.50-$2.75. The service was friendly and I liked my sandwich, specially with this price, I don't have any complains.  A cup of coffee costs more than $3 in L.A.. Not friendly for Vegans / Vegetarians though.

Chicken wraps at My FIt Foods

When I went toYelp's fit club events, I got to try food from My Fit Foods and Pressed Juicery.
You can purchase chicken wraps for $6 at My Fit Foods. The portion of each meal is small, to be honest, one meal wasn't enough for me so I ate two. I did enjoy the flavors though.

Township Saloon - Hollywood

Late night grab at Township.I wasn't really hungry but my friend was, so we came here. I was little excited to try this place. I like Creole food and I was hoping I can get good creole food. I only had one okura and small bite of Po'Boy. Unfortunately, the food was just ok and everything seems to be overpriced.

Berlin Currywurst is coming to Grand Central Market this Spring

For the first-time ever, Berlin Currywurst will be adding traditional German breakfast offerings to their menu - for Grand Central Market customers only.

Berlin Currywurst is the fourth Currywurst installment for the youthful married owners, Hardeep and Lena Manak. The couple left their desk jobs in Berlin, Germany, and moved to Los Angeles to open their first Berlin Currywurst location in 2011. Since then, their traditionally-made currywurst dishes have been attracting sausage and German cuisine aficionados alike to the Manak's original location in Silverlake, as well as to their Hollywood beer garden and Santa Monica Pier locations.

"We do currywurst the authentic way you get it served in Berlin's urban sidewalks. We believe the Grand Central Market is the perfect fit for this street style food and brings it back to its roots, a busy urban environment. Our recipe is steeped in German tradition. Our menu is kept minimalistic and you will discover an unlimited variety of combinations by experiencing different sausages, heat levels, and flavors."

The debut of Berlin Currywurst this Spring is part of the unprecedented celebration of new restaurant openings at the iconic food arcade, which is the oldest open-air market in the city.

Grand Central Market is in the midst of adding a wide array of new vendors with new flavors, cuisines and tastes throughout the marketplace. The new eateries include Sticky Rice, serving authentic Thai "Comfort Food;" Valerie at Grand Central Market, a bakery and coffee shop from acclaimed Valerie Confections; specialty coffee innovators G&B Coffee; Horse Thief, serving Central Texas BBQ; DTLA Cheese, serving domestic and imported cheese dishes; and Eggslut, serving variations of the incredible egg. Additional upcoming openings include Olio Pizzeria GCM, Wexler's Deli, The Oyster Gourmet and Belcampo Meat Co.

The musical indie comedy "Sweet Nothings"

I'd love to share about this musical indie comedy that involves a chef of an all-desserts restaurant. Sweet Nothing, the musical indie comedy about two misfits, an actress who won't act and a chef who won't cook.

Launch day: Monday, 3/3

Preview Page- CLICK HERE

Sweet Nothings is an indie musical comedy feature about love, about food, and about facing your biggest fears. The story follows Gwen and Jack, two misfits afraid to take the leap that accompanies their greatest passions: Jack is a chef who dreams of opening an all-desserts restaurant; Gwen is an actress afraid to put up her hilariously weird one-woman show. It’s filled with love, levity, and most importantly, desserts.

After Dumb Starbucks, I stopped by at Ramekin. They offer coffee by Handsome coffee, also ice cream and ramekin sized desserts. And some sandwiches too.

I was gonna get strawberry brick toast but they said they don't have strawberry so I just got pastry.

It looks like they have instagram, facebook and twitter check in offer but I didn't realize it but now I know so I'll use it next time.
