So Kong Dong Tofu House Korean B.B.Q. - Valencia, CA

Another restaurant in Valencia, CA. If you wanna eat REAL Korean food in Valencia, this is the place to go. As far as I know, this is the first real Korean food in Valencia, and taste very good. You get banchan like you get at Korean restaurant in Korea Town, and price is right.

I believe this is the family owned restaurant, when we were here, we thought the restaurant is closed (it looks like closed from outside) but it said open and it was open.

ban-chan: we really liked it. They'll bring you second ones if you'd like.

Bi Bim Bap (rice topped with vegetables in stone bowl) $9.95
I ordered with no meat but there were meat. If I wanted to order veggie & meat, I just order veggie & meat for $7.95. I wasn't happy about paying $2 more for veggie & meat, not only veggie, BUT taste was great.

Soon Tofu $8.95

After eating all, we were both very happy, and yes, we'd come back here again. I really hope that this place doesn't go out of business.

This place looks good. If you'd like to try another place that I like alot- it is Hoshi Japanese BBQ in Santa Clarita on Bouquet cyn in the mall by Ross and Vons. Everything is really fresh and you grill it yourself on the table. It seems like korean bbq to me but I don't know that much about Japanese food.

Excellent place! Loved it there. Highly recommended. I love their Kalbi(Korean short ribs) and spicy BBQ chicken. Their soups are great too.

Hoshi sucks. It is korean BBQ with a Japanese name. That doesn't translate to bad food, but it translates to a money grab. The food just happens to be bad all on it's own. Spicy pork was good, but that's it.

Very nice place, good food and good service. I commute 35 min from Glendale twice a week to eat there. The owner is very nice

Terrible experience! me and my wife are an interacial couple and had horrible service. The ice water tastes like dirty dish water. And the food (which my korean wife has eaten her entire life) made her very sick! racist "koreans" dirty dishes, and spoiled food... sounds like a winner!
