Ping Pang Pong Chinese restaurant at Gold Coast casino. All the reviews we read said very good, so we wanted to try this place. It's more expensive than Chinatown. Most dim sum dishes were disappointing. I only liked 1-2 dishes, the other ones weren't delicious. Also the people pushing dim sum cart are real Chinese people, and they don't speak or understand English. That's kinda problem. I have to say, whoever says delicious about this place is crazy. Of course, we only tried dim sum, I don't know about dinner.
shrimp
pork buns
tofu.
Peanuts in it. We couldn't understand what the lady was saying, we thought she's saying beef, but it was peanuts. Don't get this one.
Chinese version of half-way cooked meatballs, I'd say.
I don't know what this is
Mango pudding. Spoon was dirty, couldn't use it. Also I couldn't ask them to bring new one because they don't understand English. Tasted like medicine.

I've been there quite a few times for dinner and really enjoyed it. My wife (Japanese) and I have never made it for the dim sum. You should go back and try dinner sometime though. It looks much better than this.
ReplyDeleteI also have to say that since finding your site through Yelp a couple of months ago that I really enjoy it. My wife and I are big food geeks and its certainly one of the best parts of living in Vegas. We like to compare what you thought of some places that we've been to.
