Sushimi - Valencia, CA

OK, this place is probably gonna go out of business soon. When we were there, there were almost no customers, and the waitress was playing with a customer's baby. Some nigiri sushi pieces were not so expensive compared to other sushi restaurants, but they serve very tiny slices of non fresh sushi. Taste was below average.

Edamame

Gyoza $5.95
I'm not sure if I can eat this as gyoza. They need to change it from gyoza to deep-fried wontons.

Albacore and eggs

Spicy tuna rolls $3.95 and spicy shrimp crab roll $4.25

Tempura appetizer $6.95

Dynamite $6.95
gross

From left: white tuna $3.75, albacore $2.95, egg $2.75

Ichi roll $9.95
Sushi shrimp on top of shrimp tempura, cucumber and avocado roll
makes me sick - sorry, MADE me sick

Sushi combination A (lunch $10.95, dinner $13.95)
Tuna, salmon, albacore, white fish, shrimp, egg and California roll (6 pc)
Yes, I know, there are 8 pieces, not 6 pieces. I don't know why

Look how small the sushi pieces are. Not only small, but also very thin, and not fresh.

I will never eat at Sushimi of Valencia again. I love sushi and eat it all the time, so I like to try new places. I thought I would try Sushimi, they seemed to have a nice atmosphere. When my boyfriend and I walked in, there were hardly any customers, and this was on a Saturday night, this is very rare for a good sushi place. I must say, this place had the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. The waitress had an attitude with us from the moment we sat down. I won't get into detail because it would take me too long to write everything, but, needless to say, we will NEVER eat at Sushimi again and do not recommend it to anyone.

To whomever wrote this, I'm sorry to hear your experience. My wife and I have been going to Sushimi almost once a week for a year now and have NEVER had a remotely bad experience. The staff is very pleasant, the prices are good, and the sushi rolls excellent. I have had friends whom are sushi enthusiasts go, and have loved it. To all of you reading this persons complaint, don't skip this place because of one persons personal opinion. You should try and form your own.
