Panda Inn located at Universal CityWalk. Again, my husband (who loves Chinese food and loved this place about 10 years ago) wanted to try this place again to see if he still likes it or not.
About 10 years ago he thought this was the best Chinese food when he hadn't tried many real Chinese food places yet. Well, in 2009, he didn't like the food at all. Why? Because we've tried so many Chinese restaurants in the last 5-7 years including bad ones and good ones and Michelin star.
Food here is basically just like some other Americanized Chinese food. Nothing special about the food, so really nothing to talk about, except their fortune cookies! Their cookies look homemade and they were delicious.
Three Ingredient Taste $13.50
Medley of shrimp, tender beef, chicken breast, broccoli, mushrooms and bamboo shoots in a mushroom soy sauce
Rice
Lo Mein Noodles $10.25
Choice of shrimp, chicken, beef, pork, vegetable or any combination with thick Shanghai egg noodles. Accented by Napa cabbage, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and spinach in a light soy sauce.
White chocolate coated fortune cookie. This was the best of all and it's free! Unfortunately, chocolate was melted.

I've heard of Panda Inn but not with the extra "Andrew's" in it! Is this the original location? Lucky that you got chocolate covered fortune cookies. I didn't :( at my Panda Inn in Pasadena.
ReplyDeleteBTW, look what I found on Tripadvisor today! Someone made an whole entire thread just to compliment you for all your work! See link: http://las-vegas-hotels.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g45963-i10-k3019895-Vegas_Room_and_Restaurant_Pictures-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html
Thanks for the info. It's good to see all that compliment.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about Panda Inn. But according to the website, only this one has "Andrew's". I don't know why.
My husband remembers the location in Santa Monica had those same fortune cookies.
