Fat Spoon - Little Tokyo

Fat Spoon took over EAST restaurant, right next to Daikokuya. It's run by the same owner of Toranoko and LazyOx in Little Tokyo. So yes, you can't go wrong with this place. You know it's gonna be good and I can't wait to go back to this place. The menu is very simple, Japanese style curry, pasta, and salad. I'm surprised they don't have curry pasta on the menu.

homemade simmered short rib.
Shot rib was so soft, and I really liked curry sauce, had a deep flavor.













Tarako pasta $10
salted cod roe, cream, dried seaweed & shiso leaf













Since I don't like cream sauce pasta so much, I wasn't sure if I'm gonna like it or not, but I tried it anyway. It was fine, but still, I think I just don't like cream sauce pasta.
