PINGTUNG Eat-in Market - Los Angeles

PINGTUNG recently opened on Melrose avenue. It's hard to believe that there is actually really good Asian restaurant in this area. They serve Japanese ramen, sushi, dim sum, banh mi, rice bowls, and more. I'm definitely going back and try more different items on the menu. Everything was delicious. This place is better than some of the popular dim sum restaurants in East L.A.

Sauteed baby bok choy $6.95

PINGTUNG flat bread chicken roll $6.95
dark meat. well seasoned, although wish they used breast meat.

Spicy crystal shrimp dumplings $5.50
Pretty spicy

Pork and shrimp shumai $5.95

Shanghai-style panfried pork buns $5.50

Absolutely my favorite of all. The bun was crispy, soft and sweet.
