Hashi - Little Tokyo

It was on Sunday, me and my friend were looking for place to have lunch but the places we tried to go were all closed. We tried to go to Men-Oh Tokushima but they said 15 minutes wait so we decided to just eat here. This place was empty, everything we ate were so-so. Sorry, but I'm not going back.

Nature's Brew - South Los Angeles

New bakery just opened near USC. I got two pastries to go and they were both delicious.
Also the cashier girl was super friendly.

When I was there, it was very quiet, everyone was studying, I guess. So I'm not sure if this is the good place to chat loud with friends.

Choco twist $3.50 and Burekas $3.25
Choco twist had lots of choco chips and some vanilla cream.

Burekas was filled with lots of mushrooms and onions. I just loved it.

Horse Thief BBQ - Grand Central Market

Horse Thief BBQ is one of the new addition to Grand Central Market,  serving central Texas inspired BBQ. I was invited to media tasting event yesterday. They are located outside on Hill st, across from the Angel's flight .

They have nice patio

I started with Tecate beer while we were waiting for the food and the guests.

sweet tea was not that sweet, which is good.

Yelp Elite event at ROFL cafe - Melrose

Last Wednesday, I attended to Yelp elite event at ROFL cafe on Melrose avenue. ROFL cafe was on my bookmarked for so long so I'm really glad that I got to try so many dishes for free.
The food was good. I really liked mashed potato, brussels sprouts, fries and Drive-in burger.

I had Honey vanilla latte with nonfat milk. I didn't add any sugar but it was sweet.

Sweet potato fries / hand cut kennebeck fries

Cobb salad
romaine greens, crisp romaine, oven dried tomato, red onion, chopped egg, avocado, blue cheese dressing. I didn't try it because there were blue cheese.

Chopped kale salad
smoked almond, avocado, citrus segments, honey tahini dressing

Drive-in Burger
1/3lb burger, avocado, bacon, charred onions, lettuce, tomato, ROFL sauce, cheddar cheese

I asked mine with no cheese and they made one for me! Nice.
