Oto-Oto Express, the new food kiosk just opened up inside Union station and I was there for grand opening. The new food kiosk now serving the favorite on-the-go foods of Japan including bento, rice balls, poke bowls and more.
Oto-Oto express is the first U.S. railway eatery from Ramla, Japan's third largest restaurant company, which operates five full-service restaurants in California.
To ensure the authenticity of the food at all Oto-Oto restaurants and the new outpost at Union Station, they bring chefs from Japan rather than relaying on local professionals who often westernize dishes. This is a difference that enables Oto-Oto to serve a menu with the same flavor profiles and presentations as you would enjoy in Japan.
They were giving away some samples of beef, salmon and fried chicken.

They have spicy tuna and california rolls
rice bowls
making crepes
Made to order Matcha green tea special
Strawberries, sweet red beans, matcha sauce, matcha ice cream, condensed milk, and house made whipped cream. I really enjoyed my crepe. The crepe was soft, not crispy which I like.
Pork Tonkatsu Gen wiches
"Gen wiches" means genmai (brown rice) sandwich.
They cook brown rice in dashi so it's more flavorful.
I really enjoyed my karaage bento
