Mama Lion - Koreatown

Mama Lion, new supperclub opened in Koreatown about 3 months ago. This place is similar to Terra Cotta, high-end design, upscale restaurant.  The chef is Michael Hung, who used to be a chef at Faith & Flower and Viviane. This place is very reasonable if you come here during happy hour. You get to try some of their popular food and cocktails for only $6.01 and you won't be disappointed. Everything I ate was really delicious.

Smothered tater tots - braised shortrib ragout, aged cheddar cheese
One of the most popular appetizer here. Delicious as it looks.
Hamachi tartare - Asian pear, Korean chili, roasted sesame vinaigrette
Alaskan king crab cocktail - Avocado, Tomatillo salsa, grapefruit and smoked creme fraiche
Fresh bucatini pasta - Asparagus, braised leeks, pork sausage, 63 Degree egg

Sun God - Tequila, Ancho Reyes, House-made tangerine cordial, habanero shrub, cucumber, mint
This one was my favorite.
Black Swan - Cardamom-infused vodka, kahlua, cold brew, vanilla, coconut form
If you love coffee like me, a must try.
Royal Hawaiian - House rum blend, blue curaƧao, fresh pineapple, cinnamon syrup
