I was so excited to finally try chef Walter Manzke's restaurant. This place used to be La Brea bakery. I made reservation at 6pm to avoid crowds and it was right decision. By the time I leave, the place was packed and I saw people waiting.
Food was very good but small portions.
And just a note. On the menu says "A 3% charge will be added to each guest check, to ensure health & medical benefits for our entire staff. Please adjust your gratuity accordingly."
Oh yes, I had to get some pastries to go, of course. How can I ignore them??
