I love coffee and I'm always hunting new coffee places. I've been wanting to come here for so long, and I'm so glad I finally did. This place is really small, there are no tables or space to sit down inside, but there are 2-3 tables outside. Unfortunately, the tables were already taken when I came here. The barista was very friendly, and I loved my coffee.
So I was walking around S. Beverly Drive, and I fell in love with this street. I LOVE this street. There are cute cafes and restaurants, models and actors are walking, also one of my favorite place "Urth Caffe" is on this street, too. Anyway, I saw this place, and I checked yelp, many good reviews, and I like the name "Champagne French Bakery". I went to inside, I see so many pastries and bread. Love it. Price is not bad for Beverly Hills.
The service was not great. Somehow, the workers were rude to me. Also when I was eating there, some of the workers were start eating and talking laud, I mean, it's ok, but just annoying.
I just gonna stick with Urth Caffe. No reason to come back here.
There are so many pastries. I love pastries. It was tough for me to pick one! But to be honest, they don't look that yummy to me. I like Japanese/French type of pastries and I could tell, I'm not gonna like this place. These are probably too sweet for me. Well, I was so right.
I asked the cashier lady, which one is better, black forest or strawberry white choco mousse cake, and she said black forest is better and more popular. So that's what I got. But I wish I got strawberry one.
Black Forest cake $5 chocolate cake filled with whipped cream and raspberries. My cake was a bit dry. I didn't like whipped cream at all.

Hole in a wall Chinese restaurant in Koreatown. The food was decent, and of course the price.. yes, the lunch special is either $4.25 or $4.95. It seems like the most expensive items on the menu is seafood, and that's $7.96. Yes, it's under $8. And lunch special comes with fried rice, wontons, egg roll, and soup. You get your food pretty quick, so it's a good place for people who's in a hurry, and also on budget. But there are only about 5 tables.
I'd definitely going back, and also Los Molcajetes place right next door for $2 pupusa
menu

I think this is shrimp with lobster sauce $4.95

Thank you for ruin my diet. I'm here like every week. Yes, I love Cafe Dulce. Coffee drinks are all good. Yeah, you already know it. But I also like their baked goods. They bake everything fresh here, and of course I like everything I tasted. Donuts and roti buns are very good and where else can you find cherry or blueberry or green tea or pumpkin roti buns besides here? Oh yeah, this reminds me, I haven't tried green tea roti bun yet (and green tea brick toast).Oh my god, I think I tried more than half of their breads.
Here's the pics from Nisei week. They had Green tea sausage donut just for Nisei week. Hey, how can I miss that? Two of my favorites in one! I also wanted to buy their homemade mochi, but I didn't have enough cash with me.
