Mirage - Petite Suite 2008

Petite suite at Mirage in November 2008. Needs a makeover like their new remodeled standard rooms. 2 big bathroom is great, 2 TVs are great too, except not enough TV channels and when I try to turn on the TV by the bed, the other TV (the one by the sofa) also turns on.

Mirage - BLT Burger Dec.2008

BLT Burger at Mirage in December, 2008. This time, the burgers were kinda disappointing. Still, the shakes were good. We both didn't like our burgers. I don't know if I just don't like salmon burgers or just this one, but I personally don't recommended. The reason I got this salmon burger was because the waiter recommended it last time. I didn't try the fried pickles, so I don't know if it's good or not. But my husband said they were tasty. Maybe you can try to deep-fry pickles at home if you wanna know what they taste like.

Mirage - remodeled room 2008

Mirage's new remodeled guest room. Yes! Finally they did it!

CLICK HERE for pics from before the remodel.

We loved the design of the room. The bathroom was still tiny, but a nice design. They also had a new higher-quality hair dryer, which I loved using. The only complaint would be the mini bar. We noticed there was left-over food in the mini bar from somebody before us, and also some of the items were missing. We called about it to make sure we wouldn't get charged, and for them to fill up the mini bar and clean out the old left-over food. But nobody cleaned it or filled up the missing items while we were there, which was 2-3 days.

Mini bar with left-over food + missing items. I wonder how old that food was. We didn't touch it, because it's disgusting. I hope they cleaned it up after we left.

Mirage - BLT Burger

We finally had a chance to try BLT Burger at Mirage. We read so many positive reviews, so we wanted to try this place. This place was very good just like everybody said.

I loved my milkshake. You must try their shakes. I also loved my husband's American Kobe burger. I had a bite and it was very tasty. He loved it, too. My Asian burger was very unusual and original. You can probably only get it here, nowhere else. The patty was mixed pork and shrimp, topped with carrots and daikon, also there were some kind of spread. I wasn't crazy about this burger. My husband tried it and liked it, but I won't order this burger again. I wasn't sure if I wanted to get this, but the waiter said maybe it's like a potsticker, so I decided to try it. The burger had a very strong shiso taste, so if you don't like shiso, I don't recommend it. Our waiter also recommended the salmon burger so maybe I'll try that next time.

Mirage - Alice in Slotland slot tournament

Pics from "Alice in Slotland" slot tournament last week. There was no awards banquet, but there was some food during each session. We also received a tea set as a gift, which I love.
