Arizona Charlie's - Sourdough Cafe

I was really disappointed by the Sourdough Cafe on this trip. The food wasn't good at all.

Coke $2.29, orange juice (large) $2.99
I asked the waiter "Is this really large size orange juice". He said yes. Do you agree? If this is the large size OJ, then how big is a small size? Oh, and it wasn't good quality. Also the cup was dirty.

Shrimp Cocktail $8.99
It was a little smelly.

Prime Rib and Shrimp (ACE Rewards Club special) $8.99

So fatty. It's like more than half fat.

Arizona Charlie's - Sourdough Cafe

We've been here many times now. Food can be good or bad, depends on what you order. My husband liked his hamburger and I liked my chicken fingers. They are fine. So go ahead and order those. Bread and biscuits suck. Beef stew was OK. If you like Hometown Buffet style or canned beef stew, you'll like it.

Some of the dishes required the A.C.E. Rewards card to get special prices. It's a players club card. If you don't have one, just make it. It's free and you'll start getting offers and cashback. Make sure you use it every time you play.

You'd better ask for dressing on the side or your salad gets soaked with dressing.

I don't know if only this day was good or always tastes good, but the chicken was crispy outside and tender inside. It was good.

Subway sandwiches - Arizona Charlies casino

las vegas

The most expensive Subway sandwiches we ever had. We had a voucher at Arizona Charlie's for a $20 food credit. We were thinking to go to the cafe, but there was a long line so we decided to get Subway sandwiches. We got two footlong subs, and the total was $20 plus a couple cents. The taste wasn't as good as regular Subway stores.

Arizona Charlie's - Sourdough Cafe, Nov.2008

Sourdough Cafe in Nov. 2008. The prices changed. Also the food was terrible this time. In the past, the food was fine. My husband ordered French dip, the meat was dry, also bad taste. Couldn't finish eating. I felt sick after half eating my popcorn shrimp. Even the ice cream for banana split wasn't so good. Anyway, we got more coupons for food credits, so we'll try something else and hopefully we'll get something better.

Arizona Charlie's - Sourdough Cafe July, Aug. 2008

Sourdough Cafe at Arizona Charlie's. These photos are from July and August in 2008. We both liked this place because it was really cheap. Plus we get dining credits coupons in the mail. It's only like $30 every month or so, but for $30 you can get more than enough food at this cafe. But when we went back in November, the prices had been changed. So unfortunately, you don't get these prices anymore. Although they are still doing some specials for players club members. I'll post pics from November soon.

The food here is pretty much just like Denny's. Taste and quality wasn't good, but you get big portions and it was cheap. They had a strawberry shortcake for $1.77 (I believe), but now, it's $2.99.

Also, Arizona Charlie's is the place where we did really good on "eBay" video slots. Everybody who's played that game knows it sucks, almost never get the bonus, but here we kept getting it at least every 30 seconds. We also did really good on the Zorro video slots here. It's a penny machine, but we ended up with over $1,000 just on that machine.

I tasted this and it had some smoky weird flavor.

My husband was planning to eat more than one plate, but he couldn't finish eating the first plate of spaghetti. Look at this leftovers. The portion was huge.
