Waffles de liege and Chunk-n-Chip Cookies food trucks

Here's the yummy food truck pics from Downtown Artwalk back in 2011. Both Chunk n Chip cookies, and Waffles de liege were delicious, but I REALLY enjoyed waffles de liege.

Berried in Chocolate $4.75
chocolate brownie / chocolate raspberry truffle

Of course it was yummy but also it was too chocolatey for me. I like chocolate but not too much.

With Fosselman's taro ice cream. Waffle $4.50 + ice cream $2.50
Oh boy..they were SOOOO good! $7 seems to be little overpriced for me, but their waffles and Fosselman's ice cream together = yumminess.

Bhan Kanom Thai - Thai town (2)

Place for Thai desserts. I like taro but I don't like coconut or coconut milk flavor, and most of their food using coconut or coconut milk. So I guess this place is not for me.. but I do like their sorbet/ice cream.

CLICK HERE for pics from 2010.

Crispy pancake. This is one of the most popular item. I believe $0.50 each.

Pangchi (left) and Fried taro (right). I think $0.50 each.

Grilled sticky rice with taro $1.25
I didn't like sticky rice + coconut milk together. Not for me.

Myung Dong Kyoja - Koreatown

Open 24 hours, this place is known for their steamed dumplings and noodles. So of course that's what we ordered. They also have two other locations, in Anaheim and Lakewood. Once you order your food, you get food right away, but it was difficult to get refill because there was only one guy working in front.

kimchi. I didn't like kimchi here.

shrimp and pork dumplings $10.99
10 pieces of steamed dumplings with shrimp, pork, and vegetable.
Delicious. I couldn't stop eating it and I really liked it. Gotta order it.
I think this is Kal Guk Su   $7.99
Thinly sliced noodles with pork dumplings, ground chicken, and veggies in chicken broth.
Noodles were good and it's housemade, but I don't think I'm ordering it again.

Bru Coffeebar - Los Feliz

I was surprised because there were only one customer on upstairs while all other restaurants around here were packed. My friend was so worried, keep asking me "are you sure? maybe we should go somewhere else".

tea

I wanted to get some pastries but they were all sold out. They only had madeleine.

Latte $4.50
