I had to kill some time in the area so I came here. This place was perfect place to kill time, because there were cozy sofa and food magazines and some books. I was here like an hour. The cashier girl was very nice.

This is some kind of pastry with pecan and cinnamon $2.95

I took a bite, and it was dry, just didn't like it at all

So I told the cashier girl and I got this instead. It's danish with peach with custard and an apple. It was delicious.

Just opened last week. We were here on the grand opening day and all the drinks were complimentary. There were wines too. We came here after Blacktop coffee. The person who ordered chai at Blacktop ordered chai here again and he liked it a lot. I wanted cold brew but they didn't have it so I had cortado and americano, loved both. And they do have 2% milk. I'm not sure if they are serving any pastries or not, but if they do start serving from sugarbloom bakery, I'll be super happy.

He also works at Barista Society in Downtown.

About two weeks ago, I went to Yelp’s Kickoff to Pasadena Restaurant Week event. The event was awesome, trying different items from different restaurants was so much fun. I also got to see Johnny Wu's magic right in front of me. I took iphone video but the quality is poor so I decided to not share the video.

M cafe was having anniversary special today, 5 items for $5 each.I thought that's a great deal but AFTER I placed my order and ready to leave, they were saying that this $5 menu items are not the regular size. So I don't get fries and drink with my burger, or other stuff for my teriyaki too. I really wish they explain that first. When I saw my food, I was little disappointed. But the food was fine.

Anyway, I placed my order and I was waiting my food for 10 minutes or so and one of the worker finally asked me, if I'm waiting for something and I said yes, I'm waiting for my to go food. And guess what, my food was already ready and it was just sitting there. How come no one told me it's ready??  Also all the workers were not welcoming. Kinda cold, bitchy attitude.When I asked for no cheese, the lady said no. I'm guessing you can't because it's already pre-made?
