Father & Son Bakery & Grocery - Hollywood

Piroshki is one of the popular item here. It sells out quickly. Also the workers were nicer than the other bakeries around here.

They gave me one free raisin bread.

piroshki, I think it was $1. People come here for this.

Van Bakery - Hollywood

There are many cheap bakeries in this area. Van Bakery is one of them. They are too sweet for me.

Some kind of mixed nuts in it.

The Lobby Thai cafe in Thai town

I didn't know until recently, I found the Thai cafe in Thai town! Open late and they have some unusual items on the menu, like Toasted bread I got. The food and drinks are not the best, in fact, they are just ok, but I'm going back and try their pink milk and other flavors of the toasted bread next time.

I was asking about some of their cupcakes, but the cashier girls barely speak English.

menu

cookies and brownie

Green tea smoothie $4.75, and Iced latte, I think. My friends ordered but they didn't like it. They said too sweet.

And this is my order. Toasted bread with Thai tea, and spicy Thai jam with mince sweet pork $3.25

Hoy-Ka Thai Noodle - Thai town

Open late and cheap place to get Thai noodles in Thai town. Always busy and difficult to get refills. People come here for their cheap noodle soup.

condiments

menu

#1 A; Hoy Ka Noodle with pork (small) $3.50
Noodle with ground pork, BBQ pork, pork meatballs, pork loaf and liver

This is the most popular item on the menu and it's only $3.50 for small size. Yes, it was small but it's a good way to just try out. Unfortunately, it was not the taste I like. That's just because I'm not familiar with the flavor.

#35 Stir fried mixed vegetables $6
