Japanese sweets at Azabu Sabo and Korean sweets at blutusk

It was back in November, I went to Azabu Sabo to try their Japanese desserts. Everything looks very Japannse, and I was so excited to try out. When we were there, it was little weird. I don't know because they don't speak English or not, but there were 2 workers but they both didn't speak. They won't come to refill, they won't check us out, they won't say yes, no, or thank you. Just weird. The food was okay, except soft ice cream. It was not good at all.

Wafu homemade hamburg $11.50

Salmon flakes on rice
Vanilla ice cream with warabi mochi and black sesame and shiratama $6.95
The portion was much smaller than I thought. You probably can't really tell from my pic, but it's small. We were all little disappointed with their soft ice cream. It wasn't what we expected. We thought it's more creamy and has more regular soft serve ice cream texture, but iIce cream was icier than we thought like sorbet texture. And taste wasn't that good.
Zenzai. Soft ice cream with shiratama dumplings and red bean $5.25
Matcha soft ice cream on baked sweet potato with black sesame $5.25

After Azabu Sabo, we stopped by at Blutusk in Sawtelle. We got Tusk Ice Cream + Delimanjoo combo $6. I always wanted try this and I did. But I didn't like it. Well, this place is closed now anyway.

Hakata Ikkousha - Little Tokyo

I believe this is the 3rd store in Los Angeles area. They have in Torrance, Costa Mesa, and now open in Little Tokyo. I had buy 1 get 1 free coupon so I decided to come here during soft opening.
I really liked ramen here. In my opinion, Shinsengumi has strong smell and I don't like it, but this place doesn't. I really liked both black ramen and shoyu ramen. Also service was good, too.

menu

It describes how to eat tonkotsu ramen in delicious way.  We followed this. We had soup first, then soup and noodle together, then add some condiments, save some soup, then ordered kaedama (extra noodles).
