Marinelli's - The M Resort, Las Vegas

Marinelli's Italian restaurant at the M Resort. We received an offer with complimentary room nights and $50 food credit. When we went here, they were doing a buy 1 get 1 free pasta promotion. So we got one of the pasta for free.

For overall, we were happy with Marinelli's. Service was fine, food was all tasty, pasta was big portions for us. We couldn't finish eating all. And the best part was buy 1 get 1 free pasta.

First, these were served.

Then this bread was served. There were I believe 3 different types of bread and they were all good.

calamari $12
marinara sauce & lemon

panzanella con pomodori $10
tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, basil, tossed with toasted croutons

They split to 2 plates for us. Tasty and healthy salad. Recommended.

trofie alla genovese $21
liguria twist pasta, genovese pesto, green beans & potato

spaghetti bolognese $24
filet mignon ragu, porcini mushrooms

creme brulee tasting $7
pistachio, coffee and orange with pine nut cookies

Somehow the menu says $10, but they charged $7.

Aria - City Center Las Vegas hotel room

We received an offer from Aria for complimentary 3 nights and $100 in free play. We were so excited and of course we had to make reservations.

When we checked in, I asked if our room was close to the elevator or not, and he said it's kinda middle. Well guess what, our room was a couple rooms away from the end.

I liked the design of the room, but I also prefer my room to be more bright. Also one of the light bulbs was missing, and of course it didn't turn on the light, so our room was extra dark.

There were good things and bad things about the room.
The good things were I liked the design, the big bathtub and shower area, also there were robes and 1 pair of slippers (they added one more slippers on last day).

The bad things were because they tried to make everything too cool, I couldn't figure out which lights buttons were for which things. Also there are two sinks which is great, but they were too tiny, also both sinks didn't run any hot water, also water splashes a lot and big mess. Also toilet is located behind a see-thru door as you can see. Like I said, I can see they are trying to make it cool, but I want a little more privacy for toilet. And finally, we both didn't like the fuzzy white things on the towels and carpet. The carpet was so dirty the whole time during our stay. Also every time I used towels, I got these fuzzy things all over me.

This was pretty cool. You can change the temperature, change TV channels, turn on/off the lights, curtains, set the clock, and see the room and outside temperatures.

They had so many TV channels, and it was all in HD.

View from the room. Window was extremely dirty. But you can't see it at night.

Binion's Las Vegas Casino - Binion's Cafe

We had a comp money at Binion's casino (located in Downtown Las Vegas) so we decided to try the cafe. We never been to any restaurant here at Binion's and we were a little worried about the food.

We got coffee $1.75, Coke $1.95, burger $5.50 and tuna sandwich (I don't remember exactly how much it was but around $7).

Our burger and sandwich came with potato salad, also I couldn't believe it but all the veggies looked fresh. We saw the girl who was cooking the burgers dump into the trash some meat that looked old and changing color. It's hard to believe a place like this is actually doing the right thing. Also the workers were working so hard, taking orders correctly and being friendly.

Food tasted fine, just like the sandwich you make at home.

It's got so much tuna inside.
