Latte Happy Hour at Republic Of Pie - North Hollywood (2)

As (some of ) you know, Republic of Pie offers latte happy hour between 8-9 am and 3-5pm, so I went there just before 9am to get 50% off latte back in 2012. Everyone was getting 50% off drinks so the place was little busy. Also I didn't know they have pastries in the morning. I thought they only have pies.

Normally latte is $3 but I got for $1.50.
You can't complain this for only $1.50.

Raspberry danish $3.50
It was big, little too sour although I'd probably get it again, maybe blackberry one next time..

Angelino Pizzeria - North Hollywood

This is one of my new favorite place to get meatballs. Not only meatballs, but I really liked marinara sauce here. I haven't tried any pasta or pizza, but I must go back and try them since I really liked marinara sauce. They had truffle pasta when I was here and I could smell truffles. I wish I ordered that. My company and the chef were talking in Italian so I had no idea but basically we got the dishes that chef suggested, so I don't know the prices. All the food we ate were good.  And desserts, they were lovely, loved them.

The only concern was the waiting time. First, they brought us salad, waited about 20 minutes. Then we waited little more than 30 minutes to get next food. I also told the chef to make sure to not put any cheese on everything. Well, I guess he forgot while he was chatting..

This place is always packed so I suggest to make reservations in advance.

*I borrowed the photo above from their website.

You pick two 1/2 sandwich and soup at Panera Bread

The weather is turning colder, which means it’s the perfect time for a comforting bowl of soup. Panera Bread offers a variety of hot soups every day in their bakery-cafés, including classic flavors (such as French Onion and Broccoli Cheddar) and new favorites (such as Low-Fat Vegetarian Garden Vegetable with Pesto). Why are Panera's soups so satisfying and delicious? It starts at the most basic level – with fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients and the “Good Goes In” philosophy of making soup the right way. It's a simple truth that resonates with customers and gives Panera soup an extra measure of warmth and goodness.
