Sundance Grill at Silverton casino again. This time, I didn't like their food at all. Everything was awful.Calamari was so greasy, bread was dried out.
I seriously didn't wanna eat here again, at Silverton casino's Seasons buffet, because I knew I don't like this buffet, but my husband wanted a buffet, plus we had comp money and it was also buy 1 get 1 free. I was thirsty, and somehow I wanted to drink orange juice so much so we just decided to try here again. I was hoping they improved to more tasty, flavorful food. But pretty much everything was nasty, just like back in 2008. Orange juice still tasted like fake medicine flavor.
Sundance Grill (cafe) at Silverton Casino. This was back in December, 2008, and they were having buy 1 get 1 free, so instead of total $16, it was $7.95 plus tax. That was a good deal. Their menu was also new.
Mi Casa Grill Cantina Mexican restaurant at Silverton casino. Food was good. I liked my calamari, my husband liked his burrito. But the service wasn't great. We were sitting near the kitchen, I could see the waiters standing and just talking in the back, while we were waiting for a refill. Also it took almost 20 minutes to get our food, and to me, that's really slow.
Also when we were at Silverton in January 2009, we saw a sign saying all the restaurants at Silverton were still doing "buy 1 get 1 free entree" after 4pm until the end of January.
Giant calamari $11 chipotle-dusted, crisp-fried with cilantro-garlic aioli
Twin CreeksSteakhouse at Silverton casino. All the food we ate was just OK, nothing I wanna repeat, but I'd come back here for steak next time. The steaks actually looked good and I like the atmosphere here.
bread
seafood bisque $8 It was very fishy.
seafood gnocchi $21 You probably can't tell from this picture, but the portion was huge.
Seasons Buffet at the Silverton Casino in July, 2008. This was the lunch buffet and about $10 a person.
We got here 15-30 minutes before they closed (I think they close between lunch and dinner). And I don't know if that's the reason, but there was only one waitress, also there were nobody at the carving station area. Service was awful, every time we asked for drinks, we had to wait over 5 minutes. I don't think they were actually making the water or Coke so I don't know why it took so long.
I ordered orange juice, but it didn't taste like orange juice. It tasted like medicine or fake. I also ordered coffee, and it came in a big mug with lipstick marks and coffee stains on it. Ice cream tasted like medicine also. Dessert was cheap buffet quality, and Chinese food was awful.
Overall, the food was awful, there were flying bugs, dirty dishes, and bad service. I don't recommend. You should just go to Sundance Grill Cafe.
