Paris Las Vegas hotel room

Since I've been stayed many times here, I thought I already posted some room pics but I guess I never did. Here's the pics from my recent trip to Vegas.

Cafe St.Louis - Paris hotel

Le Cafe Ile St. Louis at Paris hotel, Las Vegas. I don't know what happened to this place, but when we ate here, in July, the food was awful, and the service was terrible. We just couldn't believe how everything sucked. After we were seated, we didn't get a waiter for 30 minutes, yup, 30 minutes not even water, and we couldn't place our order. Finally we received free bread and it wasn't so good.

My husband ordered fish & chips, and I ordered La Parisien, "one of the most famous sandwiches in Paris", but my sandwich really sucked. The bread was awful, actually the free bread we got was better than this, so I made a mini sandwich with a left over roll. After making one mini roll, I still had half of the sandwich left, so I just ate ham.

While we were waiting to get the waiter, we saw Chinese customers eating Chinese food next to us, so we asked the waiter, and we found out that they have a secret menu for Asians. But we also saw that these Chinese people were spitting out some of the food.

This is the coleslaw for fish & chips, but the waiter forgot to bring it, and we received it later.

Poisson Frits (fish & chips) $16.99
Panko-breaded Alaskan halibut fillets fried golden brown and served with cole slaw, fries and classic tartar sauce

Le Parisien (comes with choice of French fries, cole slaw, or potato chips) $10.99
Paris' most popular sandwich of French ham, Swiss cheese and Dijon mustard, served on a sliced baguette (I ordered with no cheese)

Cappuccino $4.99
Cappuccino was like buffet quality. It was like from a self-service machine you see at Circle K or the Treasure Island buffet.

Tiramisu $5.99
Low quality, cheap nasty buffet quality tiramisu. I only could have a few bites.

Ah Sin - Paris Las Vegas (CLOSED)

We read reviews for this place, and most reviews were pretty positive, so we tried it. Ah Sin at Paris really sucks. We had awful service and food. REALLY hard to get the waiter.

I still can't believe it, it was so packed when we were here. Customers were waiting to get seated. But I'm telling you, don't go here. You're just gonna waste your time and money. We had pretty good experiences with other restaurants at Paris Las Vegas, so I just couldn't believe how bad this place was.

Their dim sum was some of the worst dim sum I ever had. We couldn't finish eating it. Same with tempura. Tempura was like what I call "American grocery store style tempura". Good tempura should look like the ones from Shibuya at MGM. I think Ah Sin needs to change the oil in their deep-fryer. Sushi was really low quality, and not fresh, you can actually get better quality sushi at grocery stores in Japan.

Sarawak Roasted Duck (salad), $10
"sliced and fried crispy with green onions, parsley and lettuce, tossed with roasted nuts and spices"

Shrimp Har Gau, $7.50

Pork Shumai, $6

Hamachi (yellowtail), $8, and 2 Tamago (eggs)
I just realized our receipt said "masago" instead of "tamago". They charged $6 x 2 for these eggs!

Spider Roll, $12.50

Shrimp and scallop tempura, $20
"with sweet potatoes, asparagus, broccoli and eggplant, served with tempura sauce"

From right to left: chinese broccoli, scallops, shrimp, eggplant, sweet potato

Orange Blossom Jasmine and Green Tea Declination Creme Brulee, $9

Le Burger Brasserie - Paris Las Vegas

Le Burger Brasserie at Paris Las Vegas. Friendly service. One thing I was pissed about was there were berries on the side of my beignets, and they were moldy. We told about it and nobody apologized. Moldy berries on my plate, and no apology? Well, the people who work here seem to be all college students, so I guess they don't care. Because they are not professional.

We ordered one burger, shake, beignets, and also coffee $2.70 and Perrier sparkling water $7. Total was $40 + $3 tax.

Le Classique Burger $9.99 + Provolone $0.99 + Pancetta $0.99
(The waitress gave us bacon by mistake, so they didn't charge us for pancetta.)
Grilled half-pound freshly ground 100% Black Angus beef patty

Strawberry shake $6.49

Onion rings $4.99

Le Beignet $7.99
Warm banana donut filled with passion fruit cream, served with chocolate sauce and whipped cream

Paris - Diamond Lounge

This was the Diamond Lounge at Paris on a Sunday. They open at noon on Sunday, and we got here about 10-15 minutes before they opened the door, and there was already a long line for people to get in. About 12:15pm, the seats were full, and there were people waiting outside while we were eating. I couldn't believe it.

If you don't know about Diamond Lounge, let me explain a little. There are 4 levels on your Total Rewards card: Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and 7 Stars. 7 Stars is basically really high class and there is a 7 Star lounge at Caesars Palace.

Here's what you get at Diamond Lounge on a Sunday.
Wings, sandwiches, hot dogs (it was big and good), fruits, cheese, cookies, and any drinks you want.

Paris - Mon Ami Gabi

Mon Ami Gabi at Paris hotel in Las Vegas. Reservations are recommended. If you wanna eat on the patio / outside, usually you have to wait about 40 minutes and for the patio they don't accept any reservations. Overall, service was good, food was just fine/OK. We both didn't think this is the place we wanna come back. There are so many better steak restaurants, and this place is not the one.

Appetizer prices range between $10-$15, salads $8-$17, vegetables $5-$7, steaks average $25, most desserts are $7.95.

At this place, if you wanna use your Total Rewards credits, you have to go to the players desk first and get a voucher for whatever the amount you wanna spend. You can't just show your Total Rewards card to your waiter. They won't accept it.

Bread was good. Tasted fresh.

Crab cake $13.95
celery root remoulade and gribiche sauce

Daily soup (kabocha pumpkin soup) $6.95

Steak Bearnaise $23.95
tarragon shallot butter

Seared Sea Scallops $21.95
spinach, whipped cauliflower and brown butter

Chocolate Mousse $7.95
It was heavy, too heavy, too much chocolate for me.

Paris - buffet

Buffet at Paris in 2005. Taste: OK. Not great but not bad.
