Caesars - Cafe Lago buffet 2006

Cafe Lago buffet at Caesars in 2006. $22.50 per person.
No so many selections, taste not so good, not gonna worth $15, $22.50 is too much.
But they have live piano music which is pretty nice.

Beard Papa's

Beard Papa cream puffs. Sooooooo good! These are from the one in Hollywood and Highland. What really makes me don't wanna go this location is that you have to pay $3 for parking, even just 5 minutes. They need system like if you shop there, you get free parking or something like that.

coffee

original vanilla. The best. Look at all this custard!

Green Tea and Eclair (I think)

Mirage - California Pizza Kitchen

California Pizza Kitchen at Mirage. Food here was kinda disappointing. We liked food at the one in Hollywood and Highland in L.A., but this one wasn't so good.

free sliced bread and orange juice $3 (and coke $2.50)
and waitress forgot to bring refill and I didn't get until I leave.

Sesame Ginger Chicken dumplings $8.25
Sesame ginger chicken inside delicate wonton with a mild soy-ginger chili sauce.
It was ok.

Grilled Vegetable Salad with Shrimp, half size $9.50 + $4.50 (for shrimp)
Grilled Asparagus, Japanese eggplant, zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes, scallions and roasted coan, served warm and tossed with Romaine lettuce in a Dijon balsamic vinaigrette.
It was big enough. Dressing had really strong balsamic taste and I didn't like dressing but grilled veggies were delicious. I suggest they should serve dressing on the side.

Sweet & Spicy Italian Sausages $13.50
He said: so-so

Tiramisu

Treasure Island - room

Treasure Island standard room. Not that great. They really need to change matress to new ones.

New York New York - Nine Fine Irishmen

I don't remember so much about our visit in 2005 but when we were here in Nov, 2006, our waitress wasn't friendly at all, wasn't good service.
Good thing was we could sit down at big table and big cool vintage look chair.

First three pictures are from 2005, and it was outdoors. We loved food.

Shepherd's Pie $16.99

sausage

dessert

Here's the pics from Nov 2006.

Some Irish bread - didn't like it at all

Steak & Stout (mini pies of Guinness braised rib eye tips and mushrooms) $10.99
Taste was ok. Not bad.

Featured Soup (chef's daily selection) $8.99
It was potato and something, it was good.

Seafood Chowder $9.99
Too heavy. Too creamy.

Oceans & Isle (NY strip, shrimp and a jumbo scallop, roasted tomatoes and chedder grits) $28.99 Steak was hard, not good at all but other stuff was fine.

Nestle Drizzles chocolate chip & chunk cookies

We made Nestle cookies yesterday. Cookie wasn't big like package (it suppose to get little more bigger) and it wasn't round like package. Did we do something wrong? or just package pictures are always nice so customers buys it but really it's never gonna be like package. But taste was good and I like small size.

This was X'mas eve. Hawaiian Rolls, potato salad, and ham

Split pea soup (we used real ham broth and ham)

Meatballs and deviled eggs

Turkey breast (just for my husband. I don't like turkey)

Turkey, gravy, stuffing, rice, cranberry sauce, roll
