Here's one of the hotel rooms we stayed at last week, the Monte Carlo Monaco Suite.
700 sq. ft., one and one-half bath with whirlpool jets in the master bathtub, with a dining table but no fridge, mini bar, or robes. Internet is $11.99 for 24 hours.
We had made a reservation for New York New York's "Wheel of Fortune" slot tournament but we canceled it and decided to use an offer from Monte Carlo for two free nights and $1,000 in free play, to celebrate the debut of their High Limit Slot Lounge.
We checked-in at the VIP room, and they gave us a glass of champane, and also told us that we get a free iPod. We also got RFL (room, food, limited). The RFL restaurants include the Brew Pub, buffet, and cafe. But we've already eaten at most of those, so we ate at Blackstones Steakhouse again, and the Brew Pub. We figured we were gonna play enough to get the dinner at the steakhouse comped, so we ate there. Pictures coming soon.
The next morning, we received a gift basket from our host, with fruit, cheeses, crackers, and more. That was very nice.
We also heard from the slot hosts that they are building 3 new restaurants at Monte Carlo, I remember one of them is gonna be Mexican, but I don't remember the other ones.
