Harajuku Crepe - Beverly Hills

Harajuku Crepe, where you can get Japanese style crepes in Los Angeles. Isn't that great!?
There are only 2,3 tables, very small place, cute decor. The workers were very friendly.

Earl Grey crepe with red bean, banana, raspberry, whipped cream, and green tea ice cream $6.50 + tax $0.63 = $7.13

It was very good. I liked it a lot, but I wish there were little more fruits in it since I'm paying extra 50 cents for each fruit.

Crumbs Bake Shop - Beverly Hills

Crumbs bake shop in Beverly Hills. After I had a crepe at Harajuku Crepe, I saw this place and I just had to go inside. There are so many interesting yummy looking cupcakes. I wanted to try 3 or 4 cupcakes, but since each cupcake is pretty big and costs about $4, I decided to get only one. I mean, I can always get more later if I like it.

Banana Split, Choc covered strawberry, Red velvet.. mmm

I must get this next time

After a while, I finally decided to get this one.

Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler Cupcake $3.75

Most American cupcakes are always too sweet for me, but this cupcake wasn't, it was just right. It was so tasty, just so good. I loved toppings.

I liked the idea of preserve inside.

Le Pain Quotidien - Larchmont

Le Pain Quotidien, I was little disappointed. I like the place, but I didn't like their service at all.

So after I paid for my items, I told the cashier I wanna drink cappuccino here, and so I asked them to pour into a cup. She said they're gonna bring us my order. We told her we just gonna sit outside and wait. 5 minutes later, the waitress came to our table and asked what we wanna order. We said we already placed my order and just waiting. She brought my cappuccino in a paper cup, not in a cup, and didn't bring my muffin. I asked about my muffin, and she said the cashier told her she already gave me a muffin. I said no, I haven't received my muffin yet. But she brought my muffin.
Then she told us how we can't sit down the table unless we are eating here. She was like "today is ok, today is ok, but from next time" She sounded bitchy. So we just left.
My cappuccino and muffin, both were just ok. I might come back to try their other pastries, but not gonna eat here.

pastries look good

Village Pizzeria - Larchmont

I've read this place serves good NY style pizza, so I was very excited.
They also serves pizza by a slice, so that was perfect for me. This time I got my pizza with thick crust, so next time I'm gonna get with thin crust.
The workers were friendly, very nice.

A slice of clam and garlic pizza with thick crust, no cheese $3.90

I actually wanted to get my pizza with thin crust, but in order to make it with no cheese, they can't do it with thin crust. But I'm impressed that they can make it with no cheese. That means this pizza was made to order.
Maybe you can't tell from the picture, but it was a pretty big slice, lots of clams on top. And I liked it.

Pang Kum Tuh Village Bakery - Koreatown

There are so many korean bakeries in Koreatown, and I was looking for some new bakeries to try, and I found this place on Yelp.
Just like the other Korean bakeries around here. Most bread are between $1-$1.5.

I bought these two bread. I liked both.

Vegetable bread $1
chopped vegetable and bacon in it. Little ketchup on top.

chestnut sponge cake $3

This was more like dessert pastry to me. It's pretty heavy and filling.

BCD Tofu House - Koreatown

BCD tofu house in Koreatown, open 24 hours. I came here after 2am and the customers were keep coming.

I ordered Yellow Corvina combination $14.99, comes with rice, soon tofu, and yellow corvina fish. My friend ordered chicken teriyaki $15.99, comes with rice.
I wish I knew what Yellow Corvina is and also if I knew I'm getting fish in banchan, then I probably ordered something else.

CLICK HERE for pics from 2007.

It was just a big fish, and this fish meat was like chicken. I didn't like it so much.
