Healthy Zone Jook Hyang - Koreatown

No MSG, healthy, tasty food here, at Jook Hyang in Koreatown.
We ordered from bamboo rice course, grilled fish $14.99 and spicy chicken $14.99. Each course came with salad, banchan, rice and sweet soup. I know, it's not cheap. It's cheaper if you come here for lunch (Mon-Fri, 11:30a-2:30p).

Since this was back in March, I can't remember exactly, but I think it was bean sprouts, it tasted funny. But other banchan dishes were very healthy and tasty.

Hong Kong Banjum - California Market in Koreatown

After reading so many good reviews about this place, I finally decided to try their famous jjamppong. Good portion, good price, good food and quick service.

zzambbong (jjamppong) $6.51 ($5.99 + tax $0.52)

drink place inside supermarket

There is a bakery inside the market. You can buy bread by Patisserie Eguchi. Both breads were delicious.

Brand new food truck - the bun truck

Brand new food truck "the bun truck", serving Korean-Mediterranean fusion food. Use yelp check-in to get $2 off with your combo meal.

kalbi bun $3

I wanted to try other items too but I had a plan to go eat other place, so I just had this. The bun was soft, the meat was tasty. Yes, I enjoyed it, but overpriced. The bun was small.

Yelp event at newly opened cafe IOTA in Koreatown

Newly opened cool cafe, IOTA in Koreatown. It's owned by the same owner as Haus and Moodaepo. This place open late, at least until 2am.
Also, because this place is so new, the service isn't great (slow). When I was here, they had some water problem in the bathroom.

high ceiling, nice decor.

menu (drinks)

menu (food). They also have daily special.

Mont blanc danish $1.25

Ham & veggie roll $2

Babamba (chestnut) shake (reg $5.50)
Yelper gets one free drink. I ordered chestnut shake. I loved it. But I'm not sure if I would pay $5.5 for this. Probably not.

Yummy cakes

Some of their cakes seem to be the same as Haus but cheaper than Haus (Haus $6, IOTA ~$4.5)

I love artwork on the wall

Korean BBQ, salad, potato salad, peach iced tea

Food at the event. Korean BBQ. Yum
