Grand Opening! Cafe Gunul 2 - Rowland Heights

Cafe Gunul 2 just opened up in Rowland Heights. The chef actually created the food menu at IOTA and HAUS cafe in Koreatown. So now you can get their mentaiko pastas, fried rice, and other dishes in Rowland Heights. They make everything from scratch, and all the food are chef's original recipes.  Everything was absolutely delicious. My favorites were hamburg steak, casserole, and steamy buns.

This restaurant is filled with amazing artwork done by the owner, Mimi.

Hamburger Hamlet - Sherman Oaks

Thanks to, it was great tasting event. I had a great time at Hamburger Hamlet. Their menu is huge, they have all the America's favorite foods, such as burgers, steaks, milkshakes, eggs, sandwiches, nachos, wings, fish, spaghetti, etc, etc.. They also have Happy Hour, they are offering $1 oysters, $3-$5 alcohol drinks, and appetizers for around $5.

I haven't had split pea soup for so long, I had to try it when I saw it on the menu. It also came with cornbread. It was delicious.

This is their famous lobster bisque
Zucchini zircles
It's one of their popular appetizer. Hand-cut and golden fried in italian bread crumbs
Golden fried chicken wings
Seasoned artichoke hearts. There were more than 3 pieces. Everyone ate before I take pics.
Spicy Mac n' cheese balls

Classic spaghetti and meatballs

Yes, they even have vegetarian burger!
House-made vegetarian patty with your choice of side, I got little fried onions

New York steak (12oz)
Roasted prime rib of beef
Chocolate milkshake
And dessert time. Can you tell how big that chocolate cake is??
Strawberry cheesecake
It's not house-made but it was delicious.
The ultimate hot fudge layer cake
House baked Triple layer chocolate cake with vanilla Haagen Dazs ice cream and topped with hot fudge and whipped fresh whipped cream. The portion was huge.
Egg custard  "Lulu"
An old Hamlet classic served with whipped cream. It's like flan.
