We've been wanting to try this place out, because the chef is a "Hell's Kitchen"'s winner. But looks like that winner doesn't work here anymore. And maybe this place was good when they opened up, but when we went in January, 2009, it wasn't good at all.

Bread and antipasto platter was pretty much the same as Terra Verde at Green Valley Ranch, but with less quality, and the menu was also very similar. We loved Terra Verde, back in 2007 (we haven't back there, so I don't know if it's still good or not).

Everything we had at Terra Rossa was pretty disappointing, except their daily appetizer special, which was a salad with crabmeat. That was the only thing we liked.

This might be the first time none of the food made me wanna eat when we received our food. My husband said his lasagna was the flattest lasagna he had ever seen.

I always like to order dessert to have a happy ending, but I figured that would be just wasting my money here. I rated 2.3 and that's because I liked the salad. If I didn't have salad, I'd rate 1 out of 5. Don't waste your time and money here. If you are looking for a place to eat at Red Rock casino, try Hachi instead. It's not Italian, but it's a good place to eat.

Can you imagine you get this plate in front of you? This doesn't look good at all. I was expecting a little more pretty and delicious looking plate. This looks like something we make at home when we are so hungry and wanna have something very quick. Totally wasting your money.

The third time Red Rock hotel room. I love the design, but this place always gives us excuses. The first time we stayed here was when they just opened up, but they gave us a dirty, not cleaned room, so we had to move to a different room, and the room we got was for the people who's with wheelchair and also that room was next to employee stairs, so it was quite noisy. So we left 4 hours later. Luckily, we had a room somewhere else on the Strip.

This third time, the room was nice, we also got free food credit and free slot play. But when we checked out, they messed up with our credits. They charged us a resort fee and the restaurant bills. The only thing we should have had to pay for was the tips at the restaurants and everything else should not be charged. So we had a long talk and arguing for over 30 minutes, and after so many times calculating, finally they charged us correctly. Same thing happened when we stayed here the second time. Staying here seems to be too much trouble for us. So if you are staying here, make sure you check your bill before you check out. I'm telling you, they ALWAYS make mistake.

The resort fee here was I think $20, which includes newspaper and free internet access. And don't forget to check the local newspaper, because they often include coupons for buffet or restaurants.

Hachi Japanese Restaurant at Red Rock Hotel and Casino. Service was good and the waiters were friendly. Food was good and arrived fast. They also have 38 dishes for under $8. In fact, most of our dishes were from "38 for under $8".

Tempura was crispy. Fried rice, seabass cake, and beef kushiyaki were very tasty. But the chicken dumplings were pretty bad. So don't order dumplings.

And the desserts... the beignets were great, each one was pretty small, but I can guarantee that you'll have some room for these no matter how full you are.

This was our first time ordering fondue at a restaurant, and it was very good, too. Also it's fun.

Desserts from the Grand Cafe at Red Rock Casino. $4.99 each. Desserts here are good. I got pastries at the Grand Cafe in Green Valley Ranch before and it was very good, if you like what you ordered. I like fruit tart, so I got it and it was good. I don't know why I got the chocolate mousse + brownie thing, because I don't like brownies and heavy chocolates, so I didn't like that one. But if you like chocolate, brownie, and rich flavor, you're gonna love it. In fact, my husband liked it.

I think it was white chocolate mousse and brownie on bottom. It was very rich, heavy.

Red Rock Casino Feast Buffet in December 2008. We had a coupon from the local newspaper, which was buy 1 get 1 free at any Station casino buffet, plus we had a Boarding Pass card, so this breakfast buffet was $6.99 + tax = $7.53 for two. It seemed like most people had the coupon from the newspaper, so there was a long line. We waited about 30 minutes, and when we were leaving, the line was even longer. We went to other Station casinos later that day, and all the buffets had a long line.

Somehow, I really wanted orange juice this day, unfortunately, the waitress said "out of orange juice". This is the breakfast buffet, it's only been 3 hours since they opened and already no more orange juice? Okay, so I got apple juice. It was low quality, super sweet apple juice with lots of corn syrup. I couldn't drink more than half.

OK, now, lets talk about food. It SUCKS. This place is suppose to be the locals favorite buffet, maybe because it's cheap. In fact, $7 for two is cheaper than going to Subway, and this is all-you-can-eat. But you know what, food sucks.

If you want good food, I don't recommend here, but if you want something cheap and doesn't matter the taste, then this might be a good place to go. And don't forget to check the local newspaper!


Sushi was like it was made by machine, even Vons sells better sushi than this. The Chinese bun was dry.














Carved ham and salad were good. Hush puppy was alright. Carrot salad looked so gross, it looked like food somebody threw up.
