New York New York - Il Fornaio (2)

Il Fornaio at New York New York casino again. We were there last week. *CLICK HERE for more pics. This was our second time eating here, and it was still just ok food. Again, just like all other New York New York casino restaurants, the service was so slow. I wanted to order dessert but because the service was slow and we were waiting, waiting, .. and we didn't have enough time to order it. We had plans after this. Gosh, we always have to wait to get waiter and food at this casino!

Minestrone $6.75

Zuppetta Di Pesce Con Sambuca $10.50
Seafood soup with monkfish, mussels, scallops and shrimp; sambuca and tomato broth with parsley and trebbiano; grilled ciabatta crouton

New York New York - ESPN zone

ESPN Zone at New York New York casino. There are big-screen TVs to watch sports games.
Service was very slow, over 10 minutes to get waiter and order drinks. We both ordered soft drinks, got no bubbles.

Smoke House Burger $11.99

French Onion Soup $4.99
This was my first time that I got onion soup with no soup. Seriously, no, there was no soup, just onions. It was sooooo bad.

Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A sandwiches. My husband loves it but I never understand it. It's just chicken sandwich and it's fine, but is this really worth spending $3 a sandwich?

Rio Rio Churrascaria Bar & Grill - Valencia, CA (CLOSED)

Rio Rio Churrascaria Bar & Grill in Valencia, CA. Located just outside Magic Mountain.
A place for all you can eat meat. $17.70 for lunch. But I didn't want any meat so only my husband got this meat buffet, I ordered food from their regular menu.

So with this all you can eat meat, he also gets some side dishes. The waiter brings them to you. My husband was very disappointed because their website says that there is also meatloaf, pasta, and other things, but it wasn't there. So funny, because the customer who was sitting behind us left the restaurant because he wanted to have salad bar, but the salad bar wasn't ready, and really nothing was there.

Now, don't think you can eat so much meat because it's all you can eat, remember, you have to sit and wait for the meat! My husband was waiting for a while, even he was ready to eat, nobody brings the meat! After sitting here for over 1 hour, he only got less than 10 pieces of dried over cooked meat. We are NOT coming back again.

Sampler platter $18 (yup, this was more than the all you can eat meat price)
Chicken wings, chicken skewers, crab cakes, empanadas, jumbo coconut shrimps
(When we were here, they said they didn't have any empanadas so they put an extra crab cake instead. Lucky for me, because empanada has cheese in it and I didn't want it)

Now, this doesn't look like so much food but I couldn't finish eating it, it was way too much food for me. And heavy food. Taste was so weird. No, it wasn't good at all. Even my favorite crab cakes tasted weird. After eating half way, I felt so sick. Please don't order this. I should have gotten dessert sampler instead of appetizer sampler.

chicken skewers
Dry, hard, and weird taste

chicken wings, coconut shrimps
Wings was fine, but this shrimp!! It was hard like a meat, I was cutting this shrimp with knife! The hardest shrimp I ever had. And you can really tastes coconut, like little too much.

crabcakes

carrots and fried bananas

spinach and mashed potatoes

salad

black beans and jasmine rice

My husband said all the meat was dry and hard and over cooked. Not good at all.
Also, because it was lunch time, they only serve cheap parts of meats such as legs, thighs, no chicken breasts or something delicious.

sirloin, chicken thigh

bacon-wrapped beef, sausage, chicken leg, tri-tip

Passion fruit mousse $6.50
This dessert was good. You can taste passion fruit a lot. It wasn't like a mousse, it was more like custard. Very rich.

Outside the building smelled so bad

Harrah's - Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill

Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah's. If you wanna eat Southern food, try here, although my husband, who's originally from the South, didn't like food here. He said very disappointed. The food portion is kinda big. You'll get soft drinks in a jar. Food arrived fast.

After eating half of our food, we both start getting so full, and start feeling sick every single bite we had, we couldn't finish our food. Even though we were so hungry, and this was our first meal of the day.

rolls and cornbread (rolls were dry, cornbread was like biscuit)

Fried shrimp hush puppies $7.99
Each ball was pretty big, soft inside and it kept falling apart.

House-made honky tonk meatloaf $13.99
I kinda liked this meatloaf but my husband didn't.

Menu (appetizers, soups, salads, burgers)

Menu (entree and desserts)
I wanted to try fried twinkies but I didn't have any room left. Are they really good?

Stratosphere - Premier Tower - Deluxe Room

Stratosphere premier tower deluxe room. This was one of the rooms we got on our Vegas trip last week. But we didn't sleep here. We also had other (nicer) rooms on the Strip. There is a $5 resort fee here but you won't be charged if it's comp.
We also had dining credit at Naga Express as a part of our comp, but it was a bad experience. We also had 2 show tickets to go to see the American Superstars. The show is like karaoke but with dancers. And there is a topless pool on the 25th floor (guys $10, ladies free, open 10am-6pm).

The room was nothing special, like motel or the ones in downtown. The bed wasn't comfy at all.

You only get shampoo, soap, and lotion. No conditioners or other things. And it's low quality. But cute bottle, shaped like Stratosphere tower!

New York New York - America cafe

America cafe at New York New York. We've eaten here twice, both time the service wasn't good & very very slow. Very difficult to get waiter here and even if there are tables open, you still have to wait to get seated.

Strawberries-n-cream $5.25

Smoothies $5.50 and $6.50
