Manna Bakery - Koreatown

Another Korean bakery. This bakery is cheaper than the other bakeries around here. Most of their breads are $1.

The Farm of Beverly Hills at The Grove

The Farm at The Grove. Little pricey but the food tastes fresh.

Menu

Bread

Grilled Artichoke $13.75
baby spinach, tomatoes, garlic bread crumbs & warm citrus dressing

1/2 sandwich and soup $10.75

My choice of sandwich was curry chicken salad sandwich (red grapes, raisins, almonds, green onions, mayo, curry & seasoning on country white bread). I think the soup was corn cream soup. My sandwich was good, but I really liked the soup.

After at the Farm, I stopped by at Bob's Donuts.

CLICK HERE for pics from another Bob's donuts.

New Orleans Beignets $1.10 and strawberry jelly $1.20

Beignet didn't taste like beignet at all. Jelly donuts tastes like medicine. Too much sugar coating. They are famous, but I didn't like these donuts. Maybe my choice was bad?

Wien Bakery - Koreatown

Wien Bakery in Koreatown. Just like the other Korean bakeries, except this place is little more expensive than the other bakeries around here. Nothing amazed me.

Mochi pan $2
Mochi was already hard

sausage $2 and blueberry cream $1.8

sausage tastes cheap quality, blueberry cream was just ok.

Dan Sung Sa - Koreatown

I recently tried to go to Vault XXI in Little Tokyo, but they closed early on that day, so I came here instead. It was already 1am. When I came here with my friend, our servers were already drunk.

Our server (a young girl) was very friendly, but she was just talking talking and talking with other customers. She also told us she's gonna bring us Beef intestine skewer to try for free, but I guess she forgot while she was chatting with other customers. Our other server (a young guy) also forgot our order "grilled pork and kimchee" and we never got it.

Because of everything was a big portion, we had so much leftovers. But our server mixed up the food with the table next to us, so we had to tear-off plastic bags and check inside.

English menu

Complimentary stuff. It was like pickles and spicy oden (and it was really spicy)

cold tea

BBQ pork rib (house special) (#62) $10.99
There are over 80 items on the menu and I couldn't decide what to order, so I asked which item is the most popular item and our server said this BBQ pork rib. And these were the best from all 3 items we ordered.

Famous "Dansungsa" chicken wing (#75) $11.99
Just wings, they are fine, better at Kyochon or other place. These are not spicy.

leftovers

Grilled Korean sausage in house spicy sauce (#72) $11.99

It was served with glass noodles and chili peppers, also glass noodles inside sausage. Weird taste. I didn't like it at all. Personally not recommended.

Left over that our server just gave to us, even she knew this was not ours and it was for the table next to us. I couldn't believe but she said "fine, fine, just take it".

The food and the service wasn't great at this trip, but I do kinda wanna go back and try some other food. Maybe our choice was just bad.
