AYCE at Man Soo Korean BBQ - Koreatown

Man Soo BBQ offers all you can eat Korean BBQ.Prices are $14.99, $22.99, and $28.99. There's also salad bar with some banchan and fruits. We had $14.99 AYCE. The meat quality wasn't very good, and it's fatty. My BF had upset stomach after eating here.

Banchan was good.

Pork Belly was super tough. I couldn't eat.

Yangji Gamjatang - Koreatown

We came here for the pork neck bone casserole because we wanted eat something like simmered potato and meat. Basically this casserole has potatoes, pork and some veggies in it. Unfortunately, potatoes were not soft enough, and overall, we were little disappointed, so we told the owner about it.  He was super nice and he was really sorry about it, he added softer potatoes for us.

You may think place like this serves whatever and they don't care, well, it's not. The owner of this place actually listen, and try to fix the problem, and he's friendly. At the end, we left happy.

Banchan
Pork neck bone casserole (M) $34.95
The portion was bigger than you think. We had so much left over and it took me 2 days to finish it.

Meiji Seimen - Costa Mesa

Meiji Seimen offers decent soba and udon noodles. I tried few side dishes also and they were good, too. Although our food came out very slow, we thought they forgot our order.

Dashimaki tamago $6.50
Chikuwa tempura $5
Egg, tororo, and mentai cold udon $11
It was ok, I mean, it was fine, but it wasn't just good as I expected.

Shigure soba $9.50
Sauteed pork and grated radish
This dish was good. It's more like eating salad, flavorful.
