Las Vegas on Labor Day weekend

So we were in Vegas for Labor Day weekend. We used several offers, one of them was for the Carnival of Cuisine at Venetian, which also came with a free room at Palazzo. We also used offers from Sahara, which came with a free suite, $50 in dining, $100 in free play, and also our host put us in a slot tournament and we ended up getting $100 cash. We also had an offer from Caesars, with a free room (with no bathroom door) and a $300 shopping spree gift card.

The Forum Shops were really busy, very crowded with all these people who got same the shopping spree offer. We got $300, but there were other people who got $5,000,
$2,500, $1,250, $150, etc. We were talking about how maybe the people who received over $1,000 were from China or the East Coast, so they'll fly and play at Caesars. And the amazing thing was 95% of the people we saw that had over $1,000 were Asian. We guessed they were from China.

Anyway, I had to wait outside the Gucci store in a line for about 10 minutes. When I was finally ready to purchase, but I couldn't get ANYBODY, so we ended up staying at the Gucci store 30-45 minutes to just buy 1 item. After that, I went to Dior cosmetics store to use the rest of the gift card and there was a line again. Ended up staying there for another 30-40 minutes.

We also an offer from Bellagio, which came with a free room, RFL, lunch for 2 at Sensi, $250 free play, and 2 tickets to see "O". To me, "O" was like watching the Olympics live, but I wanted to see more than what I saw.

We also went to outlet mall at Primm. All the stores were having sales. I went to the Coach outlet store, they were having 50%, 40%, 30%, and 20% off most of their items. Coach bag for $100? Great buy!

The Star Trek Experience at the Hilton has finished. Yes, no more.

Finally, I felt like some of the casinos changed their slot machines. I did terrible at Sahara. I mean, how can I lose hundreds of dollars just by playing $1 a spin at Sahara?

Since we've been doing really bad this year, we decided to not go back to Vegas until MGM's Holiday Gift Shoppe in December. That's right, we don't have any plans for a Halloween slot tournament. I can't believe it.
