After shopping at Ikea, I was looking for a restaurant near by and found this place, Granville Cafe. It was lunch time, little before 1pm, so the place was very crowded and I had to wait for about 20 min.
For overall, the food was good. You can tell everything was homemade, not pre-made frozen stuff.
menu
Premium Bloody Mary $9
- Made with Stolichnaya Vodka and Dimitri's Premium Bloody Mary Mix
First time tasting Bloody Mary. It tastes just like drinking mixed with tomato juice and Worcestershire sauce. I didn't think it was delicious. I don't understand why this drink even exist. Anyway, couldn't finish it more than 1/3.
sweet potato fries $6.95
- seasoned with fresh herbs and served with your choice of Creamy Ranch dressing, ketchup, or Housemade blue cheese dressing
Well seasoned with herbs.
Butternut squash soup (cup) $4.50
-topped with dried cranberries, walnuts and parsley.
Uptown Mac & Cheese $12.95
- A great gourmet twist on a classic craveable. Aged Cheddar and Gruyere Cheeses with grilled all-natural chicken, crisp asparagus and sweet peas, topped with buttered herb crumbs.
Since I can't eat cheese, I didn't try Mac and Cheese, but I tried a piece of chicken, and this tiny a piece of grilled chicken tasted so good.
