If you want some yummy waffles and good strong coffee, then try this place. Their coffee are $2-$4, pretty reasonable compare to the coffee places in Koreatown.
Also their savory waffles and waffle ice cream sandwich caught my eyes. I must try their savory waffles and waffle sundae next time. That sounds really yummy.
menu
Cafe latte $3.50
Traditional Liege waffle ($5.5) with pearl sugar, whipped cream ($0.99) and strawberries ($0.99)
It was very tasty. I think pearl sugar made it taste much more flavorful. I love it.
Royal/T is hosting a month long Mr.Toast Pop-Up shop (until Feb. 28) and I was there recently. After browsing Mr. Toast pop-up shop, we decided to sit down and have Royal/T high tea set.

They also have pocky chopsticks and totes. I'm still thinking if I wanna get these pocky chopsticks or not.
Look at these boots..
Royal/T menu
We got Royal/T high tea set $19.50 Assorted canapes and desserts. Includes a small pot of tea of your choice. Tea was good, food was fine.
Our choice of tea was Budding Jasmine Rose tea
Nice aroma
cupcake, cheesecake, berries, cookie and burger
canapes: I think they are curried chicken salad, tuna tartar, salmon, and something.. not sure.
Newly opened Japanese ramen place in San Gabriel. Very small place. Maybe total 10 tables or under so I wouldn't come here during busy lunch/dinner time. Also I guess because they are new, the service wasn't good enough. I hate keep asking for refills.
I ordered shoyu ramen + mentaiko bowl set $11.50, also gyoza and fried rice. Check their twitter page, because sometimes they are giving free gyoza and dessert.
menu
Cha han fried rice $5.50 Rice, eggs, pork and green onions mixed with soy sauce combined to make the special bowl. Yes, it was oily and I liked it.
Gyoza $3.50 Their gyoza wasn't my favorite. It didn't taste like homemade, and also it wasn't warm. They also forgot to bring us the sauce.
Mentaiko bowl I liked my mentaiko rice bowl. Recommended.
Tonkotsu Shoyu Good flavor and good portion, I liked it. It came with egg, chashu, green onion and nori seaweed, plus you choose 2 extra toppings. For my extra toppings, I choose egg and corn. If I knew I'm getting egg without ordering as an extra, I didn't get one more egg. I wish they described to their menu.
Complimentary green tea ice cream.
For overall, good food, fair prices and yes, I'll go back.
One of the most popular and famous dumpling restaurant in Arcadia. This place is always crowded, but the service is very fast and we never had to ask for refill, they always brought us everything we need before we ask.

This is the menu
Juicy pork dumplings (10pcs) $7.25 1 minute after we placed our order, we got these dumplings. These are the most popular items on the menu, so I guess they always keep making it, otherwise we won't be getting these in 1 minute. It was good and juicy, but unfortunately, I could tell that these dumplings were sitting in the kitchen for a while. I wish they steamed after we placed our orders.
Shrimp & pork dumplings (10pcs) $7.75 Yes, these were good.
Don't try to bite only half, eat all in once, because all the juices will come out.
Sweet taro buns (2pcs) $3.60 I like taro, so I liked it. The bun was moist, not too sweet, perfect to end my meal.
