Brunch at The Hart & The Hunter - Los Angeles

Me and my friend came here for the brunch before flea market.
They do have good coffee drinks, but I didn't like their breakfast/brunch food. Way too much sauce on everything. We left disappointed.

Love the decor. Very cute.

mason (front) $4.5 and Americano (handsome coffee)$3

Mason

skillet cornbread & Honey butter $5
It was too greasy and I don't like butter. I wish they put butter on the side. Taste was ok, just like the one I usually make at home lol.. I was hoping something better than this.

Fried green tomato & crab benedict, poached egg, herb hollandaise $18
I did enjoy crab benedict, it was delicious although little too much hollandaise for me.

Pecan praline pancakes, maple syrup, butter $10
It was way too greasy and sweet. When it was served, our pancake was soaked in syrup. We didn't like it at all.

L'Amande Bakery - Torrance

I wanted to come here for so long, but they close at 6pm so I never had a chance to be here but I finally made it last week. I got here about 15 minutes before they close, of course they didn't have many pastries left. I bought two pastries but they were both too sweet and too rich for me.

I took all photos with my phone so it doesn't look very yummy.. But I'm sure they are good.

Papillote $1.99
custard inside

pistachio croissant $4.50

lots of pistachio filling inside. It was too sweet for me. I don't think I'd buy this again.

Bibimbap backpackers Korean food tasting event in Los Angeles. 6.28.2013

I was invited to Bibimbap Backpackers event in L.A. on June 28th at Korean Cultual Center. I guess they wanted to introduce Korean food to people who doesn't know so much about Korean food since most of the guests were non-korean / Asians. It was fun event, I got to see some people I hadn't seen for a while, and also met new food bloggers.

I already posted more pics on my FACEBOOK page.
