LA times night market LA Food Bowl 5/10-5/14

Today was the opening day at first ever LA times night market, LA Food Bowl. It's happening every night until 5/14 at Grand Park in Downtown L.A.I highly recommended to take metro.
The event is free, but if you wanna get in to VIP area, it's $10. There's a booth on Spring st that you can purchase the ticket.  Most of the vendors and seating  area are located inside the VIP area. And you pay $10 to get in to VIP area, but you still have to pay for your own food and drinks. All the foods are little overpriced and smaller portion. Most places accept credit cards, but there are few places only accept cash.

I just posted pics on my facebook. Check them out!

bia coffee - Koreatown

Bia coffee is one of my new favorite coffee shop in Koreatown. They specialize for flower coffee. If you want rose or lavender coffee drinks, this is the place to go.  All their drinks are not only pretty, but tasty. My favorite was appleade. It was really refreshing and really delicious.

They use my favorite coffee, Klatch.

Burger Parlor - Fullerton

Chef Joseph Mahon of Burger Parlor and Dexter Holland, founder of Gringo Bandito Hot Sauce will debut the Gringo Bandito Tostada Burger at both Burger Parlor Locations (Orange and Fullerton). I was invited to try their new Gringo Bandito Tostada Burger. ..And yes, I got to try other burgers too. The owner Joseph himself cooked our burgers for us. Yes, he's successful and he is the owner, but he still cooks for the customers. I was impressed.

"About Burger Parlor: The first pop-up concept to go brick and mortar, Burger Parlor was inspired by chef and owner Joseph Mahon’s burger-focused events at Michelin star restaurant Bastide. Burger Parlor’s 2011 pop up was greeted with rave reviews and lines stretching out the door. Since then, the concept has been honored to be named one of “Orange County’s 11 Best Burgers” by Thrillist.com, “Best Burger” at the 2016 Golden Foodie Awards, Fullerton’s “#1 Essential Restaurant” By OC Weekly, as well as one of Orange Coast Magazine’s “Top 25 Things To Eat in OC”."

half and half - 1/2 fries and 1/2 onion rings
Gringo Bandito Tostada Burger - crisp tostada chip, fried egg, Gringo Bandito crema, crushed avocado, roasted Anaheim chile and Gringo Bandito Aioli
Crafted with 100% hormone free Nebraskan beef. The burger serves as the perfect combination of the spicy Mexican flavors synonymous with Gringo Bandito and the creative quality Burger Parlor is known for.
Smokey burger - Smoked bacon, crispy onions, caramelized onions, Wisconsin ChedarCheese, arugula, oven roasted tomato, chipotle aioli
This burger was my favorite of all, and also voted best burger in OC.
Chickwich sandwich - Grilled chicken, Provolone, bacon, pickles, caramelized onions, roma tomato, arugula, feta ranch dressing

Portland burger (vegetarian) with Marinated beets, grilled portebello, sprouts, arugula, pickled carrots, oven roasted tomato, herb sauce

Cap N crunch milkshake
Since I never had Cap N crunch before, I wasn't sure how it's gonna taste like. But to me, it tasted like cold corn soup.
