Stratosphere - Romance Suite

Romance Suite at Stratosphere. There were 2 TVs and fridge, also coffee maker. There is a big hot tub in middle of the room. Also we had 3 nights here, but we never got room cleaned.

Room wasn't so bad, but we like to have our bathroom more private. Also we like to have more TV channels (this room only had basic channels). So unless they build a door for the bathroom and have more TV channels, and clean the room every day, we won't sleep here.

There are folding doors, so you can watch TV while you are in the tub, but you have to make sure to close that door when you use the bathroom. But this door doesn't close 100%, it's closed, but it's not so you can hear noise while you are using the bathroom.

Free Cinnabon Bites

Cinnabon had this free mini Cinnabon giveaway today (for Tax Day) and we got them.
We both got 2 each. They were small and cute. But they were hard and it was like a store-bought already precooked type of thing. I know they probably make freshly daily or something, but it was very disappointing.

North Carolina King's BBQ

When my husband was browsing Amazon, he found this North Carolina BBQ, so he had to order it. Because you can't get this real North Carolina BBQ in California. He ordered from King's BBQ. It arrived fast. S&H was $10 (all the prices below were what we paid in 2008).

He said the taste was real North Carolina BBQ (it should be, of course), and he loved it. Just like he used to eat when he was living in the South.
I've only seen hushpuppies in round shapes, so I thought these were unusual. I don't know what's the traditional shapes.

BBQ pork $7.50

coleslaw $4.95

hushpuppies (picture is just a few pieces, there were more) $1.50 x 2 (It's $2 now)

BUY ON AMAZON:
Hushpuppies (1 dozen)

Chopped BBQ Pork (1 lb)

Coleslaw (1 pint)

Nardone's Deli - Valencia, CA (CLOSED)

I wish I didn't forget to blog about this place before, because this place is closed now.
We got pizza from here almost a year ago. I think we got pepperoni, green peppers, and ham. The crust was super thin and burned on the bottom as shown in the picture. They also put too much oregano on top. Tomato sauce didn't taste good either. So I can understand why they are closed now.

$17.81

Hot Dog on a Stick corn dog

Corn dog from "Hot Dog on a Stick". It was my first time trying this place, and I liked it a lot. They deep-fry to order, so it's always hot.

It was $2.75 + tax = $2.98.

This is the corn dog I bought at the Orange County Fair. It was huge, but also it was $8 and the taste was nasty. My husband got a burger here, it was around $10, and he got food poisoning.

7-Eleven hot dog

Hot dog from 7-Eleven. $1. The bun tastes like supermarket brand. Nothing good quality, but it's a good snack.
