I was invited to Whittier Time Bank's first fundraising dinner, hosted by pop-up vegan gastropub Urban Dinner Socials. The fundraising dinner also featured a silent auction and the premiere
screening of Time as Money, a new documentary on time banking.
All menu items were vegan and gluten-free. Locally-sourced organic produce for this event includes pumpkin, eggplant, kale, tomatoes, pepper, cucumbers, lemons, figs, parsley, cilantro, chives, zucchini, green onions, and mint. Everything was delicious and I really enjoyed the food. I also learned about Time Bank. This event was very interesting.
We had some champagne while we were waiting
