Du-par's 75th Anniversary

I went to Dupar's on their 75th anniversary day. Omg... when we arrived around 3pm, there were long line. We waited one hour. But by the time we were leaving, the line was insane. So I guess we were kinda lucky because we only waited an hour.

I ordered chowder, chicken pot pie, and gooseberry pie. After I got my food, I was keep asking to myself, why did I get chowder, pie, and chicken pot pie?? That's all creamy soup and pies! Why didn't I get something different like meatloaf or sandwich? I was keep saying this all day. Anyways, I liked chowder and burger. Desserts were too American for me (means too sweet for my taste).

Chocolate Chair - Koreatown

I love Chocolate Chair. They make ice cream after you placed your order. So tasty and delicious. I also love their unique flavors of shaved ice. I've never seen grain, yam, lavender or rose shaved ice.

Lime - Koreatown

Less than a months old, lime offers Korean dumplings, pho, pad thai, chicken wings, fried rice, etc.

When we walked in, I didn't see any server and I smelled something odd. But we decided to try the food anyway. As always, I couldn't make up my mind, keep changing my mind I finally decided to try veggie dumplings.

For Korean dumplings, there are so many better places than lime, like Cho Man Won, Mirai, Myung Dong Kyoja, etc.

Taste of Italy 2013

I went to Taste of Italy last week. I received general admission, which including 6 food tickets and 4 drink tickets. Usually this type of food events are all you can eat and drink but this event wasn't so I had to choose which food I want, and it was really tough for me because I just wanted to try everything!

Drago Centro and Ferrarini Deli were the popular places. And I wish I got the food from Cafe Firenze because I have cookbook!

Since I'm not a wine / alcohol person,  I wish there were more coffee venders. I had 4 drink tickets and I used 3 tickets for coffee. Still, I enjoyed the event. I was very full when I was leaving.

Verace pizza

Sandwich from Caffe Roma in Beverly Hills

I got three coffees from Pasquini Espress co. From clockwise: latte, cappuccino, americano. I couldn't tell the difference between cafe and latte. When I saw my latte, it looked like cappuccino.

Pasta from Toscanova at Westfiled Century City

I thought I should have at least one alcohol so I told the bartender to make something for me and he made this. Even I said easy alcohol, I saw him pouring alcohol like half way.. I think it was vodka and orange juice.
