"La Iguana." This place used to be called "Wana Iguana". Maybe the owner changed. My husband always like to get the chimichanga from this place. But we noticed their store name changed and their chimichanga also seemed to be a little different than before. I think it's smaller now. It didn't used to be like these eggroll size. Taste was fine, though.
My husband went to get these tacos because all his Yelp friends recommended this place. But the tacos weren't good at all. It had a fake Chinese pork color like in Chinese pork buns. And tasted like that. After he got these, he was told by his friend, you should get it at night when it's made fresh, because the taste would be different. It supposed to be a completely different color. I personally prefer Las Delicias.
This is the amount of chips you get.
I don't remember but I think it was about $3 for 2.

We went to Mitsuwa's Hokkaido fair today. Everything below was freshly cooked. NOTHING pre-made! I'm very satisfied. The only thing I wanted but couldn't get was soft-serve ice cream. We were here 2-4pm and there was always a line of 30-50 people waiting. The line never got shorter.
Shingen Shio Ramen $8.90 + $0.87 =$9.77
Oh yes! You MUST eat this! The soup was golden color and so tasty. It was really good.
Paocari Yubari melon pan $2.50 They had an oven and I waited 3 minutes and got a just-baked fresh one. It' hard to tell from the picture but it's more orange color.
making taiyaki
White Taiyaki 2 for $3 What's so special? Well, it's WHITE! Also the white part is mochi so it's stretchy. Inside is red bean paste and of course, we waited in line for about 5 minutes to get fresh ones. I was already full when we got these, I couldn't eat until 4 hours later, but it was very good. It must be really good when you eat freshly cooked.
Crepe $5 plus tax
With green tea powder, red bean paste, and whipped cream. They also have chocolate banana and strawberry. The crepe was nothing special. Just normal crepe.
It was bigger than an average curry pan. It looks like it doesn't have so much curry inside, but it didn't feel like that when I was eating. If you are eating this, please eat when it's still hot and fresh. This curry pan is really good, probably one of the best curry pan I ever had.
Croquettes from left: shrimp $3.50, mentaiko $3.50, and octopus $1
I wanted to get crab croquette, but the person before me bought the last one and I couldn't get it. I haven't tried all yet, but I had a bite of shrimp and mentaiko, and it was okay. I wouldn't pay $3.50 a piece.
Shrimp Croquette It's gotta one whole shrimp in the middle
Coke $2.29, orange juice (large) $2.99 I asked the waiter "Is this really large size orange juice". He said yes. Do you agree? If this is the large size OJ, then how big is a small size? Oh, and it wasn't good quality. Also the cup was dirty.
salad and bread that comes with prime rib
Shrimp Cocktail $8.99 It was a little smelly.
Prime Rib and Shrimp(ACE Rewards Club special) $8.99
So fatty. It's like more than half fat.

Shibuya at MGM Grand in April, 2009. This place is always busy, so you probably should make reservations. The food here is absolutely delicious. I love dessert here because they are so original and unique. The only thing is that service is slow and hard to get waiter because this place is always busy. Also a little pricey so we don't eat here unless it's comped.
Japanese tofu $18 (market price) premium chilled tofu, traditional condiments, tofu skin chip, ginger infused broth
This was really fun. They imported this tofu from Japan, it's really soft. It was served in dried ice. Absolutely tasty and delicious. Highly recommended.
combination tempura $20 I like tempura here at Shibuya. I ordered this last time we ate here, too. This is what tempura should be. The batter is crunchy. If you are a fan of tempura, try this place.
I love satsumaimo (Japanese yam), but I wasn't crazy about this croquette. But the chicken was delicious.
This is the wrong order of sushi that they brought us. I realized because I know what I'm ordering.
This is yellowtail roll, it didn't look so good to me, but taste was actually fine.
sushi from top: yellowtail $12, kanpyo roll $6, hirame nigiri $9
creme brulee duo (marinated plum, apricot miso) $10
dessert sampler $12 This wasn't on the menu. I couldn't decided which desserts I wanted, and our waiter told us they also have a sampler. It's yuzu-momo, choco lychee, and mochi ice cream. See the dessert menu for description.
This was my second time getting a sandwich from Italia Panetteria & Deli in Valencia, CA. We had a coupon, buy one get second one 50% off. So the total was $5.49 + $11.59 + tax $2.09 = $19.17. Still I think it's too expensive for two sandwiches. But we both loved it. Bread was excellent, and both sandwiches had so much stuff in it. They use their homemade bread, so each bread has different length.
