Holsteins at Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas

I tried to go to Wicked spoon buffet but they closes between 2 pm and 5 pm or something, so I came here instead. This place is located on the second floor at Cosmopolitan.
Since Iwas planning to eat later, I came here for quick bites. Just one shake, hot dogs, lobster rolls and onion rings. The total was easily over $50.. for lunch. Is it worth the price? Sorry, but no. Also the service was slow. I was so hungry but I was like.. "hey, where is the waiter?"

menu

Campfire Smores shake $11
Smirnoff marshmallow vodka, chocolate, marshmallow, graham cracker crumble.
Can't go wrong. You can't really tell alcohol in it.

Chicago dogs $11with onion rings $9

Poppy seed bun, sport peppers, tomato, mustard, neon relish, celery salt. You get three mini dogs. Unfortunately, both dogs and onion rings tasted like it's been sitting for a while.

Maine lobster rolls $16.50
Lobster tossed in chive aioli in a grilled mini hot dog bun with coleslaw.
Two mini lobster rolls and coleslaw. Again, it didn't tasted fresh. Maybe these were also sitting for a while. The buns were dry and lobster didn't have much flavor. I usually enjoy eating bread but not this one.

Cafe Dulce - Little Tokyo (7)

Today, 4/7 was 2 years anniversary at Cafe Dulce.Of course I had to go and get some pastries. I haven't had Cafe Dulce's pastries since October. That's 6 months. I know, it's been so long.
I got blueberry cream cheese donut hole and sweet potato chestnut roti. I also wanted to get dulce latte but since I was using public transportation, I couldn't buy latte. They won't allow it. I also used Scoutmob 50% off deal. I love Scoutmob.

Anyways, happy birthday, Cafe Dulce. By the way, I was here on their 1 year anniversary too. CLICK HERE for pics.

Portofino Cucina Italiana - Downtown

Big disappointment. First, I asked to our waiter if I can use my scoutmob 50% off offer for lunch. He said yes. I even clicked it and marked as used on my phone because he told me to do it. After I did it, they said "sorry, you can't use scoutmob offer for lunch". What a f**k? Well, they told me they're gonna give me coupon or something for the same deal so I can go back and use the offer during dinner time. But hey, never mind. I'm not going back.

Ok, Second, as soon as we arrived, I went to the restroom to wash my hands. As soon as I opened the door, it smelled SO bad and there were two BIG flies. It was REALLY disgusting. You know they always say, always check the restroom at the restaurants. You don't wanna eat at the dirty disgusting restroom restaurants.

For overall, the food was just average. I ordered meatballs and chicken marsala. I should've gotten panini or something. You can't really mess up with panini. Although my friend said the food was delicious.

lunch menu

Complimentary bread

Nero's double dark malt ale $10

Polpette al sugo $8.50
Angus beef meatballs, marinara sauce, slices of garlic bread.
I asked for no cheese, they brought with cheese on it so I asked them to bring with no cheese. The meatballs were too greasy and fatty. I felt like they were using cheap quality meat with mostly fat parts. I also felt like these were pre-made leftovers, it didn't seems like fresh to me.

Penne al pesto $7.99 + $3 for shrimp, comes with your choice of soup or salad
Tube pasta with pesto sauce, pine nuts, parmesan cheese

Soup

Chicken Marsala $8.99
Half chicken breast sauteed with mushrooms in marsala wine sauce.
I asked our waiter for his recommendation between chicken marsala and meatball spaghetti. He said chicken marsala so that's why I got this. It was ok, had very strong garlic flavor.

Americano $2.50

Stall 239 - Koreatown

Newly opened street food stand in Koreatown. Everything under $5 (ok, except one item). I couldn't make my mind between the angry bird and the kalbi smash. I also wanted deep fried PB&J but I got the angry bird because that's what they recommended.

There are no tables. Only for to go.

I see B rating..

Viktor Bene's Continental Bakery - Encino

After Veggie Grill, I wanted to stop by some bakery near by so I checked yelp and I found this place. Viktor Bene's bakery is located inside Gelson's Market.

As always, there are so many items I wanted to get, including almond croissant, scone, and donuts but I said "no" to myself, I bought only two.  I really liked pastries here. Now I need to find other locations near me.
