Test kitchen, this place has been open for only 10 days. This place was packed. I had a reservation, but I still waited for an hour. But because of the food was very good and our waiter, Erin (I'm not sure if I spelled right) was very nice, I'm happy.
I ordered some appetizers and $52 pre-fixed menu. I was gonna get calamari also, but they were out of calamari.
They're gonna have a one day only, secret guest chef on Aug.29 (or Aug30), it's somebody from the TV show "Top Chef". I wish I could go.

Inca Kola I was drinking while I was waiting for an hour. (Yes, I had reservation)
menu
The Roquette (featured Bon Appetit magazine) $12
Hendricks gin, arugula, lime juice
Kentucky Bubble Bath $12
Bulleit bourbon, lavender syrup, lemon juice, cynar and lavender sprig
I actually liked The Roquette , Kentucky Bubble Bath was little too sweet for me.
Padron Pepper $3
Clear gaspacho
How did they make gaspacho so clear? I'm amazed. And tasty.
Toasted country bread $10
Sea Urchin, heirloom tomato, nicoise olive oil
Even you don't like sea urchin so much, I think you can eat these. Because tomato, bread, and olive oil, these have more flavor than sea urchin. It's really like bruschetta.
Lobster custard $4
porcini mushroom
Warm baguette, Vermont butter with sea salt $2
The bread was absolutely delicious, it's from the Bread Lounge.
Warm baguette with Foie gras butter $8
Foie gras butter was really good. It also look like sweet gelatin that tastes like marmalade on top of butter.
Breeder's Cup $12
Hendrick's gin, cucumber, lime juice, agave syrup, bubbies beet, horseradish
It's kinda like Bloody Mary, but better than that.
Hamachi
Avocado, green apple, yuzu, jalapeno
Thai curry-carrot soup
Maine lobster, coconut tapioca
They pour the soup in front of me. It has very strong coconut taste.
Loup de Mer
sungold tomatoes, Mole Verde
Fish skin was crispy, but fish itself was very soft and the sauce was tasty.
beef tenderloin
Chanterelle mushrooms, katsuo bushi broth
with poached egg
Creme Brulee
strawberry sorbet in middle
Seriously, I just loved it. It was layer of chilled sweet strawberry, strawberry sorbet, warm custard. Perfect ending.
